As Salaamu Alaikum! My name is Elijah Muhammad and I am the site administrator for the website: Cosmic Connections. Our web address is www.wdmspeaks.com. Our site is dedicated to the practice and understanding of Al Islam as reflected in the discourse, commentary and example of Imam Warith Deen Mohammed. We strive to be a source of accurate information, portrayal and chronicle of the Islamic Revival that is taking place in America and indeed the entire world.
Our primary focus on this event is through examining and analyzing this phenomenon captured in the videos of Imam Mohammed. Though we live in a challenging time we have been blessed not to have to depend on the second, third, fourth hand saying and so forth of others about what our Imam said on practically any subject, to be our guide---we have his exact words preserved for all to hear and witness.
We live in a very exciting time and have been highly favored by Allah! Allahu Akbar! Alhamdulillahi rabbi alamin. Insha’Allah, our website will be useful and serve as a catalyst to propagate effective dialogue, understanding and networking between peoples of all faiths.
The Discourses of Imam Warith Deen Mohammed
As part of our continuous effort to preserve and promote Imam Mohammed’s interpretative discourse on Al Islam and its societal precepts based on the life of Muhammad ibn Abdullah (PBUH) and Holy Qur’an, we have compiled a significant portion of his discourses in their sequential order. We submit that the sequence in which these discourses were revealed reflect a formulary for the evolution of the human being from so-called Black Muslim to Mu’min.
If you have never had the chance to read Imam Mohammed’s discourses from the earlier transitional years you are really in for a transformative experience. If you have read them having this book will offer you the chance to review, renew and reenergize your knowledge his commentary.
It is our hope that by reissuing these discourses, the reader will experience the journey to self-discovery so many others experienced up and until today. We pray that this publication can serve as a catalyst to ignite a scholarly inquiry into Imam Mohammed’s exegesis on Al-Islam.
It is our intentions to compile and publish a complete series of volumes dedicated to Imam Mohammed’s discourses in their sequential order during those crucial years of 1975 to 1980, Insha’Allah.
